Welcome to WintersWelcome to Winters College!

Winters College, established in 1967, is the Fine Arts College at York University. Students affiliated with the College come from all Departments in the Faculty of Fine Arts–including Dance, Design, Digital Media, Film, Music, Theatre, and Visual Arts–as well as from the Department of Communication Studies in the Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies, and the Faculty of Education.

Winters is a vibrant, artistic community whose goal is the continuing success of its students by offering opportunities for students to showcase their artistic talents, foster student interaction with Faculty, and provide a place for students to call their home here at York.

The Master’s Office, Winters College Council, and all Winters Fellows work in collaboration to provide students with essential services for improving student success and increasing student engagement on campus.
